Latin Sight Reading Group
Every Tuesday, East College 111, at noon

Brush up on your Latin reading in a no-pressure environment. An informal group will convene every week while classes are in session to read Erasmus' "In Praise of Folly" in the original Latin. Texts will be provided, and no preparation is allowed. Just come and go as you please, bring a lunch, and translate, or just listen and follow along. The text is not very difficult, so a year or so of college Latin should be sufficient background, two to three years of high school Latin.
