His research interests include Dramatic Literature, Performance Studies, Gender Studies and Twentieth Century American Literature. His current research examines the rhetoric of masculinity in American literary culture from the Depression to the Sexual Revolution. His scholarship has been published in Theatre Survey, TDR (The Drama Review), Theatre Journal, Spectator, and Women's Studies.
