My name is G. Tyler Rumph, I am a senior
Environmental Studies major at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
For our senior seminar class we were required to research, write
about, and create this web page based on an environmental topic of
interest
related to coastal wetland loss in Louisiana. Because of my interest
in law and policy, I chose to examine the premier federal legislation
to date addressing this issue and a few of the projects it has successfully
funded.
This web site is intended to give students embarking on the LUCE
semester some background information about the problem they will have
direct contact with when they spend three weeks in coastal Louisiana.
I hope, of course that other interested individuals find my web
site useful and public feedback would be greatly appreciated. I can
be
reached via e-mail at rumphg@dickinson.edu. |
