Barynya singer Russian Dinner, a favorite event. Sponsored by the Russian Culture Club. Lots of Russian food, Russian music, balalaykas, dancing.... Featuring Barynya, a premier Russian folk group from New York. What more could you want. Dinner will be at the Depot on April 7, 2008. Tickets go on sale around March 24.

“So what can you do with a Russian major.” Find out at a roundtable discussion co-sponsored by the Career Center, Feburary 22. Three recent graduates will talk about their life after Russian at Dickinson—from establishing careers in Russian art at Sotheby's to attending law school in DC, to working at the Council for International Educational Exchange, one of the premier study abroad centers in the country. Find out what made them "stand out from the crowd." Look for our posters!

Five Students and an Honorary Guest will be inducted into Dobro Slovo, The National Slavic Honor Society. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 24, at 4:30 p.m. in Vincette House.

Pysanka—experience the old Slavic art of Easter Egg painting. All materials will be provided. April 21, location to be announced.
