About the Advisory CouncilThe Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL) is a non-profit association. It's bylaws establish the Advisory Council as the governing body of the organization, along with the Board of Directors. The Council is composed of institutions that pay a yearly fee and name one official representative to the Council for the academic year. NECTFL does not have individual memberships, but accepts payment from individuals who wish to join the Advisory Council on behalf of their institutions. Advisory Council membership includes numerous benefits and is the best way to help NECTFL realize its mission of providing leadership, advocacy, and professional development to all language educators. |
The Board of Directors of NECTFL has created a two-tiered structure for Advisory Council membership. The two membership options allow you and your institution to determine the best way for you to support the Northeast Conference.

* Invoices are mailed in July or upon request. Payment is due by December 31st of the year.
