FOREIGN LANGUAGES, TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETING The department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting at NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers courses in twenty-six foreign languages. Our students are NY City professionals who wish to polish their language skills or acquire new ones. The department and its faculty are committed to the highest standards of foreign language instruction. |
Currently, we are accepting applications for part-time instructors of French, Italian, Mandarin Chinese and Modern Standard Arabic. Instructors need to have at least a Bachelor's degree, native or near-native command of the language, familiarity with the culture/s, and experience teaching the respective language, adult teaching experience a plus. |
